Care Groups
"You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden... Let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give honor to your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14,16
Life is meant to be lived in community. We grow up in families, socialize and play sports throughout school, and work in teams throughout our careers. Groups shape who we are, and we shape those around us. It’s through our relationships that we experience the world and deal with the rewards and issues that befall us.
It’s natural to form groups at church. We love socializing and worshiping with those who share experiences and lives such as our own. We find so many things in common that we relate immediately with people who may share our profession, children, or any hobby and interest that we may have.
Care Groups are informal gatherings to get to know each other better while serving the church and the Lubbock community. They include members of our congregation and our frequent visitors. It’s a fun time to gather with our brothers and sisters in Christ for social activities, prayers, devotionals and service.
